My normal stomping ground was a dud a few weeks ago, but I was hoping with the warmer weather the carp would be a bit more active. Despite the horrible water conditions, two feet above normal and muddy as hell, I was able to find a taker for my crappy crayfish pattern. I got into chasing carp for the sight fishing, but I will take a random hookup any day, especially given the conditions.
